Service Guarantee, Adjustments & Refund Policy

At Studio 285, every service is performed with intention, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. We take pride in delivering a refined, high-touch experience and stand behind the quality of our work.

To ensure consistency, fairness, and the highest level of care for every guest, all concerns must follow the structured process below.

How to Request a Service Review

Step 1: Contact the Front Desk Only

All service concerns must be directed to our front desk team by texting 706-945-0175 within five (5) business days of your appointment.

Please do not contact your stylist directly regarding any service-related concern.

All Service Communication Must Go Through the Front Desk

To ensure proper care and scheduling, all service-related questions and concerns must be directed to the front desk, including:

👉 A loose extension bead or installation concern?

👉 Questions about your color, tone, or results?

👉 Haircut or styling concerns?

👉 Maintenance questions?

👉 Requests for adjustments or follow-up appointments?

Our stylists are not authorized to schedule, approve, or perform complimentary services outside of salon management.

Why This Process Exists

This system allows our team to:

  • Properly document your concern

  • Schedule the appropriate time and service

  • Ensure consistency and fairness for all guests

  • Provide the highest level of support and follow-through

You are never bothering us—this is the most efficient way for us to take care of you.

Step 2: Submit Photos

Please include clear, natural-light photos so our management team can evaluate your concern.

Step 3: In-Salon Evaluation

If needed, our salon manager will schedule an in-person evaluation with your original stylist.

Step 4: Adjustment Opportunity

If a service adjustment is appropriate, it will be scheduled through the front desk and performed by Studio 285.

Resolution Policy

Studio 285 must be given the opportunity to assess and address any concerns in-house.

Approved resolutions may include an adjustment or corrective service.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only at management discretion.

Policy Qualifications

To remain eligible:

  • You must contact the front desk within 5 business days

  • Hair must be available for in-person evaluation if requested

  • All corrective work must be performed by Studio 285

  • Recommended aftercare must be followed

Extension Longevity & Chemical Reality

Hair extensions are a luxury, processed material and require ongoing care.

Any chemical service—including lightening, coloring, toning, or glossing—will naturally reduce the lifespan and performance of extension hair over time.

At Studio 285, we use professional techniques and the Davines color system to protect the integrity of the hair. However, all chemical processing introduces some level of wear.

Over time, the following are expected:

  • Gradual dryness or change in texture

  • Fading or tonal shift

  • The need for maintenance and eventual replacement

This is a normal part of wearing extensions and is not considered a defect.

What Voids This Policy

Outside Salon or Stylist Services

If your hair or extensions are altered by another salon or stylist in any way after leaving Studio 285, this policy is immediately void.

Extension-Specific Policy

Studio 285 guarantees only Salty Locks Hair Extensions installed and maintained by our team.

Outside coloring, cutting, or chemical processing voids all guarantees.

Physical Alteration

Cutting, reshaping, thinning, or modifying extension hair voids this policy.

Unauthorized Complimentary Services

Any services arranged directly with a stylist outside of the front desk process are not recognized or protected under this policy.

Damage, Misuse, or Neglect

Improper care, excessive heat, or failure to follow maintenance recommendations voids this policy.

Change of Preference

A change in tone, color, length, or style after a completed service does not qualify for a refund.

Policy Enforcement & Limitations

All adjustments and potential refunds are only considered after Studio 285 has been given the opportunity to evaluate and correct the service in-house.

Studio 285 does not offer refunds, corrections, or compensation for services that have been altered, corrected, or serviced by another salon or stylist after your appointment.

If services are performed elsewhere following your visit to Studio 285, this policy is immediately void, as we can no longer verify or take responsibility for the condition, products, or techniques used on the hair.

Studio 285 is not responsible for the outcome of services performed by another salon and will not reimburse or compensate for work completed outside of our salon.

Final Policy Note

Studio 285 reserves the right to determine all service outcomes and resolutions.

Legal Notice

Under Georgia state law, once services are rendered and accepted, payment is legally owed.
