Head Spa & Scalp

  • Yes. Regular scalp massages improve circulation, reduce tension, and create a healthier environment for follicles to thrive. Our treatments combine massage with premium products for maximum results.

  • Every treatment includes a professional dry-off. To leave with a finished look, please book our "Curls" or "Personalized Style" add-on when making your appointment.

    • Express Scalp Treatment: 30 minutes

    • Scalp Treatment with Steam & Hair Mask: 45–50 minutes

    • Deluxe Scalp Treatment: 60 minutes

Hair Packages

  • A professional blowout at Studio 285 typically lasts 3–5 days, depending on your hair type and daily routine. Using professional styling products can help extend the life of your style.

  • No, all Luxury Hair Packages are non-transferable. Each package is designed for one client only to ensure consistency and personalization with your stylist.

  • Not at all. You can schedule your appointments at your convenience within the package time frame — 31 days for Wash & Blow Out and 124 days for Toner Wash & Style.

  • Any unused sessions will expire after the package period ends. To receive the full benefit of your package, we recommend scheduling all sessions in advance to secure your preferred times.

  • Yes. To deliver consistent, personalized results, all appointments within your package should be booked with the same stylist. This ensures they understand your unique hair needs and preferences.

  • Absolutely. Our expert colorists will customize your toner to refresh your blonde tones, enhance brightness, and banish brassiness, leaving your hair looking salon-fresh every visit.

Additional Salon Services

  • Cezanne is a long-lasting smoothing treatment that eliminates frizz while providing nourishment, making hair softer and more manageable. It can last up to 12 weeks. Hair Lamination, on the other hand, is a shorter treatment that focuses on adding shine and smoothing the cuticle to enhance gloss. This treatment typically lasts for a few weeks.

  • Absolutely! Most of these treatments are designed specifically to be added to your existing cut or color appointment to enhance the results.

  • Most add-ons, like deep conditioning or hair glaze, can be completed within 15–30 minutes and fit seamlessly into your scheduled service.

  • Yes, add-ons are priced individually and will be added to your service total. Your stylist will review all charges before beginning.

  • We recommend every 4–6 weeks, especially if your hair is color-treated, chemically processed, or prone to dryness.

  • Your stylist will provide a consultation at the start of your appointment and recommend treatments based on your hair’s condition, texture, and goals.

Spray Tan

  • Absolutely! We provide customized spray tans that offer a natural, streak-free glow. Perfect for vacations, special events, or everyday confidence. Our spray tans are safe, long-lasting, and designed to give you the perfect tan without UV exposure.

  • We recommend getting your spray tan 1–2 days before your big day. Note: Complete all waxing, manicures, or pedicures BEFORE your tanning session.

  • With proper care and moisturizing, your Studio 285 glow will typically last between 8 and 10 days.

  • No. A spray tan is cosmetic and does not contain SPF. You must still apply sunscreen when exposed to the sun.

  • The application itself takes roughly 15–20 minutes, including a brief consultation to select your perfect shade.

Hair Coloring

  • At Studio 285, we believe in honest, transparent pricing. For color services, we charge based on the time required for your specific needs rather than the complexity of the service. This ensures you get fair, affordable results with no hidden fees.

  • You’ll get a clear estimate for your Color Session. The VISH product charge is measured during service, so it can’t be exact beforehand. Most guests pay $20–$25, usually $15–$40.

  • Flat rates often mean some clients overpay and others underpay. Our method ensures fairness for everyone.

  • We exclusively use the Davines line, known for its premium Italian color formulas that offer vibrant, long-lasting results. Our color services are ammonia-free for a comfortable, odorless application. Plus, our salon hair treatments are designed to restore and hydrate your hair, leaving it healthy and shiny.

  • Your stylist will guide you during a consultation to decide whether you need all-over color, highlights, balayage, or a corrective service.

Hair Extensions

  • Maintenance depends on the type of extension and your hair’s growth cycle. Typically, hand-tied extensions need to be moved up every 6-8 weeks, while tape-in and K-tip extensions may require adjustment every 6-10 weeks. Our stylists will give you personalized aftercare instructions to ensure your extensions stay flawless.

  • At Studio 285, we specialize in hand-tied, tape-in, and K-tip extensions using premium Remy hair. Our certified extension specialists will customize the extensions to perfectly match your natural hair, giving you the most natural and seamless look.

  • When applied and maintained by a trained stylist, professional hair extensions will not damage your natural hair.

  • Keratin bonds last 3–5 months. Hidden hand-tied wefts need move-ups every 6–8 weeks. Other methods vary by hair type.

  • Yes. Use sulfate-free products and heat protectant. Keep hot tools away from bonds. Have color done professionally.

    • Fusion Install: $135 per pack + hair

    • Hidden Hand-Tied Weft: $135 per row + hair

  • Absolutely. Our stylists are experienced in coordinating styling across multi-day shoots, live television, and runway events.

  • We recommend contacting us as early as possible, but we often accommodate last-minute projects when available.

  • Absolutely. We can provide and manage a full team of stylists to ensure consistency and efficiency across large productions or events.

Consultation

  • Once we receive your photos and details, our stylists review them carefully. You’ll receive your personalized estimate within 24–48 hours (often sooner during business hours).

  • Yes! Once you’ve received your estimate and are ready to move forward, our front desk team will help you schedule your in-person appointment and secure your spot with a card on file.

  • Not necessarily. Our virtual consultation gives you a great estimate before you visit. However, your stylist will always do a final in-person assessment before installation to confirm exact pricing and customize your service plan.

  • We’ll reach out if we need additional images. To get the most accurate estimate the first time, please take your photos in natural sunlight and show your hair from the side and back.

  • You’ll receive a text confirming that we’ve received your images. Then one of our stylists will review your hair and send back a personalized estimate with recommendations for your service and extensions.

  • No — our virtual consultations are complimentary. You’ll only be charged for services once you officially book your appointment.

Appointment/Booking

  • Yes! If you’re booking online, simply select all the services you’d like before confirming your appointment. If you’re unsure which services to choose, text us photos of your hair and we’ll help customize your booking.

  • Yes — all new extension clients are required to complete a consultation. You can book your consultation online, or text us photos for an initial estimate.

  • To ensure your preferred stylist and time, we recommend booking 2–3 weeks ahead, especially for color and extension services.

  • Please call or text as soon as possible. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require us to adjust or reschedule your appointment, depending on availability.

  • No — your credit or debit card is only held securely on file to reserve your spot. You can pay with a different method on the day of your appointment.

  • Yes! We provide on-location styling for events and special occasions. A credit card on file is required to confirm these appointments.
